Solutions Consultant- Horsham, PA

A Solutions Consultant is responsible for the technical and operational support of the sales team, including technical demonstrations of the LIQUENT product platform. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the provision of technical product demonstrations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Effectively communicate the usage, benefits, and returns with utilization of proposed software solutions.
  • Work closely with entire sales team to evaluate and assist in sales strategy and solution recommendations for each individual account.
  • Preparation and maintenance of software for the purpose of providing demonstrations on multiple formats; including portable equipment, in-house Citrix systems, and VMware images.
  • Conduct extended technical sessions with prospects in the form of workshops, pilots, proof-of-concepts, evaluations, etc.
  • Attend various industry events and trade shows to provide technical and product support.
  • Assist Account Executives in preparing written responses to technology related portions of Proposals, responses to RFI, technical architecture, software functionality inquiries, and other documents.
  • Understand and keep up to date with competitive products and technology as much as possible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to assist in the sales process.

    Qualifications:

  • A BS or higher in CS, MIS or other technology related field.
  • 3-7 years progressive experience working within customer-facing technical or technical sales oriented position.
  • Understanding of Life Sciences regulatory standards or Drug Development processes is desirable.
  • Knowledge of document management, registration tracking, or publishing solutions is preferred.
  • High technical aptitude to understand and educate on full LIQUENT product set.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Experience in creating and delivering presentations.
  • Ability to present software solutions to large audiences with various degrees of technical experience.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within North America (estimated 60% to 80%).
  • Requires an extensive technical expert with the ability to present a sophisticated client/server software product to groups of end users and high-level technical and corporate managers.
  • Basic technical capability with Microsoft OS Platforms, Sharepoint, Internet Explorer, HTML, Adobe PDF, and basic networking concepts.
  • Must possess the ability to set up and maintain client/server hardware and software, LAN & WAN configurations.
